i have the dead tree edition

they "explain" in the typical little manner ( read: treating you like an idiot, making the process 10x more laborious than the subject matter dictates )
programming in mini-kanren without mentioning the word kanren one single time

the kanren-system  is the phd thesis of one of the authors ( can't find it right now ) and it explains everything far better

disclaimer: i bought the book because i wanted to learn how to implement prolog
