It's not easy to say this. Society effects on individuals ARE strong. In different environments you can get different results.

Damn, this is the most controversial part. You can really convince dumb people of your convictions, but they are dumb enough to not recognize figures of speech, separate verbal and physical offenses, etc. They slowly turn them to "preventive actions": last month two drunken brothers were holding each other when going home and one was killed, because attackers believed they were a gay couple. THIS is not acceptable.

Where education isn't sufficient (almost everyone in every situation) free-speech is DANGEROUS and should be done with care! With more than enough care you can raise an nazi army from your peaceful neighboorhood. It's why censorship still exists.
