I've only ever written one program in javascript. I had a task I wanted to do, so I decided to do it in a new language.
For once in my life, I had a some money, and I would occasionally drunkenly gamble on the roulette, as for once it didn't matter if I lost a little money. I of course ended up playing online a little too, which is dangerous as you can sit in the house and drink a lot and make bad decisions.
I figured the online roulette games could be slanted unfairly in the house's favour, and didn't trust them. This is after I tried a few tactics that never seemed to work in the long run.
SO I decided to write my own roulette program in javascript, which I knew would be fair and if I could come up with a system to beat it, might work on a real table. Maybe not those gamed online ones, but a real table.
So I wrote it.
Nothing can beat it in the long run, the house always wins.
I'm sure those of you with more mathematical minds than me will laugh at me even attempting to beat something that hasn't been beaten since its inception. Of course 0 always fucks it up.
Many autists would have worked that out in their head before even bothering to write the program. Oh well, it was fun.
