New language

Alright guys,
I have been playing with Python for awhile but it's getting old.

Does anyone suggest a new, easy to learn, multipurpose language.

By multipurpose I mean like programming games to programming little programs for personal use.

Whatcha got?


P.S; I would prefer something a little less used.

Because whatever you do, DON'T go near the best functional languages as they will pollute your mind with ideas such as "C++ might not be the best language for everything ever" and "Maybe typeclasses are better than OOP in most cases".
