Close enough, but the function itself may change (or be picked out of a countable infinity of possible equivalent/close-enough functions) and the function itself is never directly executed, otherwise there would be no environment to live in, instead, you again, get a choice of a countable infinity of such computable functions that somehow indirectly implement your own "mind" function as a side-effect. When you experience the world, through your perspective, your "function" would be mostly the same, while the "environment" functions that implement your particular function should be variable - that's where QM should come from (this implicitly means something close to MWI should be true).

I did read a very insightful post today of someone elaborating on this idea, which has been known for more than 20-30 years now, which basically formulated a very generalized form of a computational Anthropic Principle for (the stable experience of self-)consciousness and its properties. Too bad I'm not going to link to it, because obscure mailing lists and Usenet groups don't need to get more crowded than they already are (and you would find them eventually if you were truly interested in these topics).
