Database programmers are lowest of the low. They are like electricians - your computer will not work without electricity so his job is vital for your own, but you don't give a fuck about him and only realize he exists when problems occur, in which case its usually swearing words.

How hard are they? Possible to do studying by yourself (and if you already work in the field...) without paying for courses?
