It's hideous. Their heart is in the right place, and I'm sure it works adequately, but this is why people who are used to MATLAB and Fortran shouldn't design languages.

They seem to fancy Ada/Pascal structures, Python array literals, and Haskell/SQL comments syntax. Languages not particularly known for numerical work.
