I like Terminal's color scheme, though. Not because I'm a ``hurrdurr dark-as-my-soul'' faggot, but because I browse /prog/ in a dark room, and a darker theme is less harsh on my eyes.

I suppose I could just create my own CSS for the textboards, or even just edit Pseud0ch to be dimmer and lower-contrast, but I'm too lazy to do such a thing.

If you're a basement-dweller who lives in a pitch-black room like me, then you'd probably want something less bright so that your eyes won't be strained as much. Even with my monitor's brightness turned all the way down, Pseud0ch is still pretty bright.

I didn't come from SA and even the person who tipped me off to 4chan in 2004 wasn't from SA either (or america for that matter). I did know a number of ex-SA people in the lead up to it, all of them said it was complete shit and a bunch of niggers, hence the ex.

I don't dwell in a basement and I don't dwell here all night but I always have the lights off. I don't really have a problem with looking at a bright screen in darkness, but I also probably sit a good distance away from the screen compared to you, or I'm just used to it.

I wouldn't ever use terminal even though I love monospaced bitmap fonts like Fixedsys/Terminal/System. DOS command line nostalgia I guess. But Like >>13 said the blue and purple against the black background hurts my eyes than any amount of bright display in a dark space ever has.

My prog looks messed up right now. Blacks & grey stripes in background, white text, and well that's ok but the other part when I'm looking for a thread is white text on a nearly white background and bright green for other parts.
