College

I'm 23 and still not in college. Am I fucking up? I'm also a 5th grade drop out. My mom (who is mother of the year) thought it would be a good idea to ask a 5th grader if they wanted to try home schooling. Needless to say, it didn't turn out to well. I don't even have a GED or drivers license. I'm fucked.

Which is a better major, computer science or * engineering? I'm trying to pick one that will actually teach me. Computer science classes seem pretty easy from what I've heard.

This is way too easy.
Will someone with lower standards please field this one?

What's the awarding authority for the Mom of the Year award?

OP if not trolling:
CS: if its not a shit school your curriculum will be a certain amount of math, at least 6 courses of them. It will tend towards ``new math'' and other abstract topics. After math, programming and actual CS, the rest of the curriculum can vary or its all electives.
Eng: Their math topics will be more classical analysis like differentials. Theres a larger natural science requirement as engineering is an application of the natural sciences. Theres much fewer electives.

What the hell is "new math?"

SET THEORY and whatever was put together in volumes by Bourbaki.

There is no better major as they focus on two different fields. If you're interested in the theoretical aspects of computation, you should study CS. If you're interesting in engineering with a slant in computing devices, you study CE.

Either way, you'll need to work your math skills to do with.

If you're more interested in making money to live, I strongly suggest you study investing and salesmanship. When you succeed as an investor with a solid plan, you can live your life in true freedom.
