It's funny because that probably applies to kodak-kun. You should take it easy kodak-san, rise above the mental midgets, and appreciate each moment of your life. Don't waste time in anger and frustration, unless you enjoy belittling the mental midgets. Then it's ok.
I've seen some universities that put pressure on their employees. That sounds like a wonderful place to be though. I've found work to be mostly making half working implementations within the shortest amount of time possible, using broken frameworks and preexisting algorithms, filled with bugs, missing features, and performance that can't scale, and you are not given enough time to properly fix these components. I don't let it get to me or anything, but other people will expect you to be stressed, and I don't find the work itself stressful, but being around other stressed out people is
stressfuluncomfortable.
