This may seem stupid and the jews are probally supressing it but this is the idea I've had about why we have not had much sucess modeling true concesnouse. All of our computers are based on clearly deliniated lines between input and output, so they are computable functions. But the mind does no work like that it is less a mathematical function w/ input and output and more like a dynamic stained glass window. It both continusley perceives the world but not the real the world gererated and modified by that very perception. So in escence the goal of AI should not be generating methods for perceiving reality but rather the ability to arbitrarily alter the perception of other modular abstract perceptions. SImilar to the ideas Solphism in phillosophy the computer must not see past its self it must only be able to look through the glasses of seperate optically tranformative processes. So in escence reality is not computable by values but only the systems of metacomputation themselves
