consider the French Jew President Sarkozy's recent expulsion of Roma gypsies from his country
Yeah! Expulsion of jews is "anti-semitic", but attacking Roma is okay.

BTW, Romas could be educated and put on a non-mafia way of life. Doubt that is possible with jews.

Better code monkeys, I agree. You need to be a big picture person to be a good designer. Asperger droids will crank out reams of code in some shitty language, not achieving anything, and not even know it.

I am completely against the expulsion of Roma people from France so that they can stay the fuck away from my country.

this pisses me off so fucking much.

i'm asocial as fuck but i don't have autism/ass burgers.

i dream of having been born with an IQ of 130+. it feels like i have to try 5 times as hard as a smart person to understand what i'm reading.

fuck this. fuck.

Don't care about IQ, just learn and it's over.

well yea. it's just irritating to know that i'm learning at a much slower pace, and there's not much i can do about it, sans perhaps investing even more time into developing mental shortcuts to remember things more quickly.

fuck.

>that feel when yesterday I finally figured out how to use vectors to do gravity in real-time after about 3 years of many massive attempts & failures

You'd think I'd be so happy after having finally figured it out, and while I was, there was also this crushing feel of failure at having taken so damned long to figure out something so damned simple.

Before college, I started to program in VBA, using MSOffice built-in editor (which I found by accident when editing some macros I used to format my aunt's docs).
Next week, google told me that C and C++ were the most used languages, then I took my time to learn C and opengl, then tried to do a couple of games.
It was going nice, but I needed two things for a good game: an engine and AI. I thought about C++ and Lisp (google again).

But, before learning those, I went into college, and there I didn't see anything but Pascal, then Delphi, Java, and finally, HTML+CSS+Javascript.

Now, years later, I decided to study C++ and Lisp in depth. And it's a shame to have trouble learning them now.

I don't know what to do, /prog/.
I started working on my portfolio a couple months ago in anticipation for getting my AS degree in Computer Programming. I've got a couple small projects on it, as well as a wiki that contains a few code snippets of mine, but I just don't know what to do for projects, because we never really did anything noteworthy in school.

So basically what I'm asking is, I need ideas for projects to work on to add to my portfolio. Here is a list of the languages I know:

- C++
- Java
- Python
- X/HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- PHP
- MySQL

I have a good grasp of object oriented principles and have designed a List data structure class, but I've never really done anything that I thought was worth adding to my portfolio.

So... any ideas?
