communicable proof. I just know I'm conscious, without being able to communicate that fact to you in a way that you can trust/verify. You seem to know that you're conscious as well. With a few small assumptions your hypothesis would be shown wrong, but with
only the assumption that you have a 'mind', it cannot be shown wrong. Either way, it's not my job to prove something of this sort to you because I can't prove you have a mind either, at least not without me taking certain assumptions (which I tend to take, but I cannot truly know if they are correct). Solipsism is bad for other reasons as well: it prevents all useful reasoning about reality, about what is moral/ethical behavior, why everyone is acting like they have minds and yet you're making the strong claim of excluding the existence of all minds but yours.
