How do you program (or learn to program) while depressed?

Surely everyone on /prog/ is a miserable, anxious NEET, right?

Develop masochistic tendencies and embrace the suffering. I'm dysthmic and have been depressed all my life. I don't even want to bother to change it and don't tell people about it. They can already tell I'm thoroughly miserable when I do come in contact with them; I'm a recluse. This may lead to self-harm and mental breakdowns as your depression progresses. Consult your broken shards of porcelain, smashed bottles of glass, fridge-dented-by-head, and other such comforting things if you feel you need quality time with something you can understand.

If you've had depression for a while now, you might want to seek treatment of some kind. I've heard bad stories about treatment though, so take that with the a grain of salt. Hopefully you find something. Depression is no fun.

also consider >>3-san's recommendation, although first make sure that you are able to care for a cat, in being able to give it attention, food, water, a space to live, and have enough funds to take ey to the vet when emergencies come up, as they inevitably do. And consider adopting from a shelter.

Just realize that that you're a cat. Stop being a miserable human and embrace your furry nature.

Just write.
I don't see how you can be depressed while programming, my blood pressure tends to skyrocket and I can be seen throwing things around compile time.

I'm not NEET. I'm both employed and half-educated (I dropped from university though because earning money > having DIPLOMAH)

Currently in university, with a job application currently being processed. I also have a fiancée.
