Programming books or something

So i got a bunch of programming related books that was part of my school curriculum over the years which served me well.

Now im looking for ones that i want to read myself for my own use. I know plenty of coding but im lacking in the frontend department.

I discoverd the existence of "boutique" or "blog published" books which i ended up buying these:

https://shop.smashingmagazine.com/smashing-book-print-bundle1.html

and now contemplating these:

Anyone tried books like these? Some suggestions? Anything goes.

Is that what she said? Perhaps you should look into getting some kind of penis extension.

Looking at my bookself, I would recommend at least:

- TAOCP
- PAIP
- LISP
- TAOTMOP
- K&R
- DB
- TAOP

(Strangely, I still don't seem to have a paper copy of SICP.)

Because everyone is interested in my opinion, here are my opinions about these particular books I have on my shelf:

- HtDP: I got it from a bargain bin for, like, free, so I do have a copy, but I never came even close to finishing it. It seemed like a dumbed-down SICP. A nice idea, but if you've read the first three chapters of SICP, you've nothing to gain here.

- CLRS: I never understood why it is so popular. I've read most of it, but it just seemed like a glofiried cookbook to me.

- AIMA: After PAIP (one of my all-time favourites), I expected something more from Norvig. This book was crap. (Well, granted, I'm not particularly interested in AI, but the presentation in this book was a lightyear away from PAIP.)

Really?

HOP, LL, WELC, TRS, TSS, TLS, TCS, and TCPL return absolutely no relevant results when searched on Google.
