In the tavern is the sound of men drinking and laughing. Raga hears the tale, from an armour-clad warrior, of a village, far away, being harassed by a monstrous creature. He sets sail in the month of August and it takes several months of hard voyage to reach the distant land, and he practices his arrow skills, using the skeletons of fish and shards of wood. The villagers are ecstatic at his arrival. They show him the cave where the monster lurks; unnatural and deformed. Once inside, Raga calls the blessing of the Earth god and searches for the beast. After hours inside the cave, he finds the creature - a twenty-foot tall Nigger, wearing sport clothing and stolen jewellery, asleep on a pile of bones. Raga shoots his magic arrow. His aim is true: the arrow penetrates the monster's anus, and in the split second it takes for it to travel up the entire length of his colon, the monster screams and explodes as if nothing but marble. Raga sends his thanks to the Earth god and returns to the village, only to find his quest in vain, as the village as been overrun with niggers in his absence and there is nothing left to save.
