Bullshit

Name: Anonymous 2011-11-23 21:26

I've come to the conclusion every single person on here is a gay faggot spitting bullshit out of their ass. Fucking losers who obsess over gay shit like LISP when there are tons of other functional languages. Fucking losers who complain and bitch about petty insignificant shit and steer people in the wrong direction when they're on the path to success at an enterprise.

For those of you who come on here and read all this nonsense, don't let it phase you. In fact, dont even visit this piece of shit of a website. Go read reddit and post questions on stackexchange. These people here are nothing but adults living in their parents basement babbling about LISP on every thread because they have ADHD

If it ain't lisp, it's crap.

Lisp is shit.

Idiots like you are a lot more vocal lately.

There is also some Lisp hater spammer whose posting patterns are really obvious (he also shitposts using the name ``LISPPER'', when he's obviously not one, and is possibly also the gc-hater).

I think someone must have had a hard time reading SICP or installing Emacs and decided to spam /prog/.

Almost all Lispers on /prog/ are polite and don't shove the language down your throat. Most of us don't even talk about the language unless someone is asking a relevant/specific question about a particular language or implementation.

Hey >>1,

My name is John, and I hate you. You are a fat, retarded, no-life who spends every second of your day reading stupid ass text boards. You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever gotten any pussy? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of people because of your own insecurities, but you take it to a whole new level. This is even worse than jerking off to pictures on facebook.

Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I was captain of the football team, and starter on my basketball team. What sports do you play, other than "jack off to naked drawn Japanese people"? I also get straight A's, and have a banging hot girlfriend (She just blew me; Shit was SO cash). You are a faggot who should just kill yourself. Thanks for listening.

Code Related: It's me and my haskell loeb
loeb = fix (fmap . flip id =<<)

>>6 Great copy and paste. Wouldn't have known it if i didn't google it. Funny, you were around so long you probably have a whole list of these.

I don't obsess over these boards. I'm a senior undergrad student who just got a legit ass full time offer as an associate IT consultant at a Big 4.

On weekends I get fucked up with friends and hit the bars, sometimes frat and house parties. What the fuck do you actually do? Sit in your moms basement and read SICP? Code in Haskell to turn yourself on? Faggot I'm doing bigger things than you. Captain of my basketball team? Nah, my school is a NCAA D1 Basketball team thats very legit, but do I know the team? Yeah, I chill with a few of them. So fuck off, your life is pathetic

What you need is to be hit with a mace and tied to the horse and dragged through the streets. What you need is to be reduced to paste, wander the countryside, blind in one eye, sucking the dicks of dead dogs to survive.

Not OP here.

But why do Lispfags get mad at AntiLispfags? I see the Read SICP spam in /prog/ like everyone else. The, "If it ain't Lisp, it's shit" spam... and all the other spam Lisp programmers/trolls use.

I'm seriously curious why Lisp programmers/trolls think that's going to advance the cause of Lisp programming in the mainstream... from /prog/; as well as, why Lisp programmers/trolls get mad when there's the much antipicipated negative response to said spam.

wander the countryside
sucking the dicks of dead dogs to survive.
This would be a good game mechanic to add to an FPS written in Lisp.

Look at it this way.

On most browsers, you can bring up your browsing history by pressing Control-H. (No, this is not going to become a discussion of werecows.) On Firefox, this brings up a sidebar that shows up on the left side of the window. If you put your mouse over the edge of the sidebar, the cursor will turn into a different kind of arrow. By clicking and dragging it, you can move the edge of the sidebar back and forth. You are, to put it another way, manipulating the border between the normal window and the history window. By moving the mouse, you can increase the portion of the window devoted to either part. In a more extreme view of this situation, you're increasing or decreasing the amount of existence the sidebar has.

Now, let's apply this idea to something more abstract. Look out your window. If you don't live in a highly urbanized area, you should be able to see the horizon. Think of this as the border between the land and the sky. The land and sky are obviously distinguishable thanks to this boundary. Now, if you were to "drag" the sash between the sky and the land, or to manipulate the border between land and sky, you would end up causing the sky to become larger and the land to become smaller, or vice versa. An effect of this might be to cause something that was just on the ground to suddenly be hundreds of feet in the air. Truly a frightening situation to be in. So, look at it this way - manipulating the border between two physical things shifts whatever balance there is in the interaction between those things. Alternatively, by manipulating the border between two things, you can change the manner in which they exist.

Still, this isn't *that* abstract, since it's still dealing with real things in the real world. Many believe that in this world, there are those things that are true, and those that obviously aren't. This divides reality into two extremes: truth and falsehood. But, since we have two extremes, logically one can imagine a boundary between those two extremes - the border between truth and lies. If one were to manipulate this border, suddenly things that were pure fantasy (flying pigs, for the sake of argument) have become reality - or things from reality have ceased to exist. This is how Yukari is said to have invaded the moon - by manipulating the border between truth and lies, as applied to the reflection of the moon on a pond, she was able to make the reflection of the moon into a manifestation of the actual moon, and so send her youkai army onto it. This is what's truly amazing about Yukari's power - the ability to manipulate the border between completely abstract concepts allows her to fundamentally change reality as we know it (at least in terms of two abstract concepts).

They won't talk but still they say, ``You kill for kicks, you got bills to pay." Well baby I got bills to pay. Don't make me act that way.

Have you seen the center spread? Stitched up like a baseball head. She was dead before they raped her, now she's in the funny paper. Pity and sin, he's breaking in, ``I am so sleepy please don't rape me." Penis I see.

Did you ever want to be obscene in a muerto magazine? Filled with hate you hope to ween, fight the beast and leave the cream, leave the scene. It's so easy to be the latest atrocity but it always seem to be a penis that I see.

You'd be surprised to discover my level of empathy; I've gone from prey to victim: penis in me.

Have you seen the center spread? Stitched up like a baseball head. She was dead before they raped her, now she's in the funny paper.
