First of all, I don't need to justify my feelings to you. If you are uncomfortable with making racist jokes, then we're not forcing you to make any. Do not feel free to generalize to other people, however.
Second, my ``soul'' isn't ``pure and free of racism'' since that would render me incapable of understanding racist jokes (or any kind of racial prejudice, for that matter). I am not racist, but I've accumulated sufficient racist social context to understand and make jokes about it.
Lastly, why exactly should I not feel free to crack jokes about whatever subject I wish? It is certainly within my rights and it does not infringe upon others' rights.
