If that's the case, then I suspect that it was written by an analfrustrated autist, who didn't have the moniez/generally too autismal for nvidia, and thought, ``Hey, i've got the best idea ever! I'll insert some bullshit hardware dependant autism code, so no nvidia users can use my autistic software!''

Serious question here: are there any advantages to using CUDA over OpenCL? They looked pretty much equivalent to me, aside from a few extra obscure low level features in CUDA.

ATI cards are generally better for things like MTY. ATI cards tend to have more stream processors than nVidia ones. Some nVidia cards might score higher in video game benchmarks, but as for GPGPU stuff, ATI cards are better, due to their generally higher amount of stream processors.
Look at GPU-accelerated Bitcoin mining benchmarks, for example. ATI cards get better performance across the board.

I propose a tripcode-based digital economy, where you buy and sell goods on the internet by exchanging tripcodes.
They would be like bitcoins, but not quite as worthless.
