Seriously, yeah most people were forced to learn it in school, but other than that why isn't it more popular for developing something productive.

I mean not that there aren't any modern compilers and fuck most of the crap we use everyday written in seppels and c would be more useable (less bloated and such) written in it.

On the other hand I can't get myself to use it though but why don't some of you do it and tell me how it went :)

I was enrolling in college and they required students to use Pascal language. But, because I already knew Lisp, I found this Pascal language awful at best. I refused to comply with their shiteating rit of passage and became a college dropout. So now I can claim, that all college graduates are mindless slaves to the education and corporate systems.
