im not trolling! I want to make games for a living. I've done some visual basic at college but only rubbish stuff like making a calculators and saving text files. I don't want to do lame things like that for a living.

VB is not for anything, especially not games.

I'd take VB.NET over Java any day. Then I'd write a library which does all the work in some other CLR language.
