I am new to /prog/, and I have to say, I really like it! It feels really good to be part of a community filled with similarly minded people. A very well suited question! I consider myself to be an able programmer. I have about six years of experience with C/C++ and x86 assembly, and minimal experience with various other languages of programming and scripting, though I will not list all of them.
