I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it 'the sussman'. First I crouch down in the shower in the classic 'I put on my robe and wizard hat' pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Sussman or Abelson and I start to hum the SICP theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless EXPERT PROGRAMMER. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my sussman leg. It ruins the fantasy.

No cat command in LoseThos. Go watch videos--there are feature incompatible with that concept. It's kind-of a misguided question. I never use cat -- that's for admins, not programmers. What are you doing, that you need to cat something? You don't exactly need it for video games. Are you doing research? MATLAB is probably what you want?

How do I put this... You have to see the vision... I decided documents were for the screen, not printer, so they are dynamic. You can make an entry in a document so that a callback function feeds it text 60 fps as it's drawn on the screen. There are variations on that concept.
Who prints documents? That's for old school dull, work kind-of applications. LoseThos can compete with the MATLAB crowd a little, but that's optimistic. In theory, it's good for lab hardware device control, if you want to write drivers. The lab devices are probably undocumented and too complex, though.
