Dude...there isn't anything scary about applying for the dole. Plus, it will get you out of the house at least once a fortnight to sign on. Would be good for you. It also teaches social skills such as
lying to your claim advisor about getting a job.
Maybe go into something other than computer science if it didn't work out for you. Maybe even something more programming related...or maybe less, like network engineering. Just be thankful you aren't tied to the humanities with their endless bullshit politics.
How the fuck are you living if you have no income? Parents? Dude, get the dole, at least until you go back to uni. In fact, ring up clearing tomorrow and see what is going, it isn't too late for this year.
