has anyone actually read SICP?

I'm not being funny but what the fuck is with this book? It's the hardest fucking book I've seen I can't get past the first chapters there's even math in it wtf I just wanted to write programs.

SICP is worthless it doesnt even cover forms programming. Do yourself a favor and get VB.NET Step by Step and develop some real world skills.
