Instead of priority lists i put all tasks into this table, and then for each cell compare priority levels vs time to completion.

I often don't know how much effort something will take. That's a big problem with programming -- "This is going to take 5 minutes" might end up taking you N days, depending on what it is you're doing.
Also, as a neurotic, I tend to overestimate the effort irrationally. For instance, cleaning. Cleaning seems like a much bigger task than it is, and it becomes one once I put it off. But I enjoy the rewards of a clean room.
