Production quality code

Why do some of you brag about writing ``production quality code''? I've written code for several high profile companies and it never crashed or got turned down and I wrote that just like I would write any other code, either you guys on average write terrible code or you are glorifying the simple.

b)Write production level code.

There is a vast difference between write some scripts to test the functionality of a site and writing code that is supposed to handle over 100 million page requests per month or code that deals fetching/storingdata on the order of terabytes.
