Lisp is in the right place. The rest is pretty bad.

There is no god, and there is no god tier. All major languages suck.

Yeah but my exception oriented, List-influenced, dataflow toy language will change all that.

Why anyone thinks it's a good idea to "rank" languages is beyond me.

It's not accurate as it is non-sensical to rank languages in a non-specific manner. Different tools will solve different problems.

Lisp is clearly the only God-tier programming language. I mean, just look at all the God-tier software written in Lisp. Like...
...um...
...fuck.

emacs, all the scripting for the Uncharted games, Yahoo Stores, lots of pet projects.
At any rate, equating "what the software industries do" with "the right thing" is clearly false. Software is fucked with a chainsaw.

I think you're equating ``God-tier software'' with ``less than a handful of shitty to mediocre software.''
And don't give me this ``industry'' bullshit. Software companies are typically started by typical software geeks who can and do use whatever the fuck they want. A start up building a webapp is just as free to use Racket as they are to use Django or Ruby on Rails. They don't because it is simply shit.

Yahoo Stores
Wasn't that one of the many projects that they tried to write in lisp but it didn't work so they eventually cut their losses and switched to something sane?
