I am trying to understand why I would need a flex framework. I am looking at the robotlegs framework (although I just picked one on a recommendation) and it brags about things like reduction of boilerplate code and loose coupling, but I am still confused on how it accomplishes this. The demo I am looking at seperates the MVC components out into very minimal directories and object, but I feel the way Flex is already set up this already occurs. I am new to Flex so I could be missing something. Does anyone have reasons to use a Flex framework? Also, favorite flex framework

I have no idea. It is something I picked up from the Flex Linked-in group. Those guys have no idea what is going on generally so I thought I would ask a board that does have a clue.

It's object-oriented language, so yes it is programming. The fact that I die a little inside each time I use it is another matter.
