0.0 - you unconditionally, absolutely use closed-source software no matter what
1.0 - you prefer closed-source software, but use open-source software sparingly when it's far superior
2.0 - you do not take a preference to either licensing model; simply choosing whichever software is superior
3.0 - you prefer open-source software, but use closed-source software sparingly when it's far superior
4.0 - you unconditionally, absolutely use open-source software no matter what
Who are you, /prog/?
Range [0.0 .. 4.0], decimals allowed if the options are not precise enough.
Example: Richard Stallman is, I believe, a 4.0, as he unwaveringly behaves according to his ideologies.
Who am I, you ask? I think I'm roughly a 3.2 or so -- I pretty much always use open-source software, on my Gentoo box, except for a few things like games and the nvidia blob (which, for my GTX260, works far, far better than nouveau at the moment).
