From the rest, I would like to know of any math/programming related jobs that actually benefit society. I don't want to work for finical companies and I don't want to waste my time developing stupid game engines.
I take it you don't like any of the advances brought by modern technologies? Why not go live with the Amish?

Communications benefit society very much, and encryption empowers individuals and organizations, big and small. Big and messy CRUD apps do serve their owners, but you wouldn't want to do them just because of that.
But really, if you don't care about the discipline of computing and the craft of programming by itself, you really shouldn't pursue it, as you will likely end up in a shitty, soul-crushing job writing low quality solutions to fake problems for the corporate sector, and even if you pursue it passionately, you could very well just write programs that satisfy you and a few more people, and not impact society at large directly as you want.

That's really uncalled for. You should understand by now that one should judge an anonymous post by quality of the message. You should understand by now that people often don't care about being any help.
Also, I earn a tidy living as a software consultant by analysing business information requirements and suggesting a solution to those requirements.

It's not your place to tell people what they should want. Just do what will make you the most money.

Here's an idea. Think of something that benefits society. Use your imagination to come up with a way to apply programming and maths skills to the problem. If your imagination limits you in this regard then it was never meant to be.
