so what 4chan addons are out there?

the 'official' addon seems to be far outdated:
4chan Firefox Extension 0.4.5.15 from http://www.4chan.org/tools/

and even the tweaked version for firefox 4 ( http://4chan.wrathfilledhate.net/menu/4chan.v0.4.5.16.xpi ) i read about here some time ago sucks - much slower than chrome's 4chan plus

i think about writing one myself, that incorporates all the features of chrome's 4chan plus, and something more i think usefull.
and it even seems easier than ever before with the new addon builder:

I use Chrome.  I don't even know what version my browser is using, because I don't have to.  It upgrades automatically.

no, but it shows the percentage in the status bar, which is more useful than a progress bar.
