Halting problem theorem says that you can't say, in a finite amount of time, whether a particular machine with an infinite amount of memory ever stops. I think that's fair enough, considering that an infinite memory can be turned into infinite complexity. You'd need infinite time to figure that out, but that contradicts the finite time requirement.

Of course, you could skip my philosophical paragraph and just read Turing's proof. Godel makes a similar argument, but I find that it's not just as strong.
