What methods can one employ to research the market prior developing non-trivial applications?
As of now, I try to keep myself updated through various web2.0 news aggregators.
Aren't there some more efficient ways of gathering data about specific markets?
Failing that, what do you use to keep yourself up to date regarding the market needs? How do you evaluate whether a project will at least cut it even?
