Hi guise, I want to write a PLC simulator, any ideas on existing opensource projects to get me started?
I've seen Karnaugh maps solvers on codeproject, since they may prove useful, but I can't seem to find much stuff.

Read SICP.

Programmable logic controller, I would interpret the code from a ladder logic diagram.

And checking out SICP, but I'm actually planning on doing this in C/C++ or at the very least C#.

I agree with >>2 here, SICP would actually be a good choice as it actually has a chapter on this.

Thanks guys. I was browsing SICP and it is Scheme oriented, would it be too much of a hassle to write c++ code based on this?

Also, >>5 are you referring to the chapter on modeling with mutable variables (3.3)?

Chapter 3.3.4 (A Simulator for Digital Circuits), but there are some other relevant chapters as well.

Thanks. I'll see if I can adapt it to my code :)

Hi guise, I want to write a HIV simulator, any ideas on existing opensource projects to get me started?
I've seen Compton maps solvers on codeproject, since they may prove useful, but I can't seem to find much stuff except AUTISTIC NIGGERS.

Heh, OP here, despite the obvious troll such a simulator could exist. If I recall correctly, some AIDS virus models are included in Zill's book on Differential Equations. It could serve as a starting point. Of course, more complex models would be needed for it to be even remotely useful.

Viral modelling has already been done to death using far fancier machines than anyone in /prog/ will ever worry about. I'm pretty sure there's even a @home project for AIDS specifically. Let's not worry about feeding the trolls.

Don't change these.
