Why anonymous p2p networks are so slow?
Can anyone explain?

Because 1) routing 2) you downloading something rare. I can literally download gigabytes from perfect dark in one evening.

And while we are at it. What does /prog/ thinks about phantom(code.google.com/p/phantom/)?  I have not tried it yet. Should I bother?
