Notch compiled Minecraft into a .exe with Java. How can I do this?

inb4 read SICP etc

Export your code to an executable .jar, then simply change the extension to .exe

Anyway what a pointless exercise on his part. It doesn't make it any harder, really, to reverse-engineer, which is the likeliest reason he's done it (pretty much everyone with Widows has Java installed because they're all fat bitches with liver cancer).
Anyway just look it up. You'd just include the relevant bits of the JVM in the program.

Not OP, but I'm sure Notch did it because he wanted kids to be able to play his game without them having to cry and moan to their parents when they haven't installed the latest enterprise JVM. You can get Minecraft in a .jar if you like, so it's definitely not because of algorithmic secrecy.
