In my dreams, it should have a "chan" made in perl6, with many advanced features like BBCODE + color, auto(magically)-coloring of source text, and voting for posts. And tits.

Install Kareha on the site and be done with it. Maybe add tag extensions and syntax highlights. Do any more than that, and you'd be over-engineering things. Shiichan is terrible software, and scraping is for losers.
