No one seems to care about HTML5. It's only robust entry point is Apple, but I don't think one person's vendetta should be a defining reason for any conversion.
but fuck, if there was an implement large enough to beat the shit out of everyone who ever worked for Macromedia, and everyone who ever worked for Adobe afterward, I WOULD GIVE IT TO HIS DIVINE BLACK-TURTLENECKED ARROGANCE if it would get the beating done faster and with one click.

once NaCl is supported by the major browsers (hopefully games will drive consumer demand, just like they did for graphics cards, ram and CPU performance) and portable, the distinction between plug-ins and desktop applications will be gone
if you hate flash, you can implement something better

In before HTML5 morphs into an insecure, uncontrollable monster replacement (hello, moving spec!). Luckily, by then you won't have one party responsible for security bugs (that is, Adobe), but every browser vendor will have a few different bugs! Awesome, right?
