Really stuck here, trying to save/open a random access file, but can't remember how to find the number of records in the file, someone please help me out?

You don't have to keep using Scheme/Lisp after you finish the book; however, your acquired knowledge will make it very easy for you to grasp any other language afterwards. Trust me.

Now I know why they downgraded the course at MIT. Because some fucktard had the idea that you could teach all of SICP in a single fucking semester. Seriously, you can't expect people who haven't written a single code in their lives to do the entire damn book in five months. It just doesn't work.
