Hey /prog/

What's this ``dynamic programming'' I keep hearing about?

It's programming 101.

What does that mean?

Read your SICP.

Evidently it means ``recursion''.

The word dynamic was chosen by Bellman to capture the time-varying aspect of the problems, and also because it sounded impressive.[3] The word programming referred to the use of the method to find an optimal program, in the sense of a military schedule for training or logistics. This usage is the same as that in the phrases linear programming and mathematical programming, a synonym for optimization.[4]

Read your CLRS

Abstractly you just bread down a problem into states and express some calculation in terms of calculations of smaller states (yes, similar to recursion).  You then just calculate from the smaller states to the larger states to perform the calculation on all states.

Dynamic Programming is a jewish pseudo-science based on jewish set theory. You wont need it in practice, because in real life there're no infinities and sets, dynamic programming is based.

And there is no "time" or "speed", because ther are no cartesian distances, just cellular automatoes, that create a bunch of hypotheses, one which is our reality.

Yeah just keep calculating the fibonacci numbers in exponential time

fibs have nothing to do with set theory, jew.

'fibs' definitely has something to do with dp, however

I already heard same shit about Lisp: that Lisp is math, because its `lambda` keyword is named after some non-existing set theoretic entity, nobody cares about. So either you show us your "infinite set" or goto osvencim, jew. And stop fucking people's brains!

You could just go back to /sci/ or /sci/. The only one who cares about jews here is VIPPER.

If you accept Set Theory (a jewish invention), then you care. And most people on /prog/ accept Set Theory. Dynamic Programming is based on Graph Theory, which is part of Jewish Set theory. So I'm in right place.

Dynamic Programming is based on Graph Theory
Meaning you wont be allowed to work in Graph Theory, without using Set Theory. If you try inventing your own theory, you will be quickly marked as a dissident and expelled from university. This is the way jews deals with their enemies.

You say "nazist" like it something bad. They were smart people, who tried to free their home and ideals from jewish infection. If not for them, Germany would probably became infected with jewish communism, a defective ideology, with roots in ugly jewish religion. Alas they were defeated by jews and their communism.

You know you can't troll people who don't know shit about that, right? The /sci/ guys masturbate over infinity and that jewish stuff, we used to masturbate over SICP and The Sussman.

Name: Anonymous 2011-02-26 3:26

I'm not trolling. I'm dead serious. If you graduated from any university with CS degree, then you know what set theory is, and what it leads to.

Name: Anonymous 2011-02-26 3:38

In my country we don't even have CS. We call it Informatics and study Jewa and SCALABLE ENTERPRISE DESIGN PATTERNS.

Name: Anonymous 2011-02-26 3:48

>>33
Informatics includes Set Theory, as basis.

>and study Jewa and SCALABLE ENTERPRISE DESIGN PATTERNS.
The problem with Java isnt that it "enterprise", but that it is based on type-theory, which itself based on Set Theory. And we dont have in IRL these "type-classes". There is no class for Dog or Cat. Evolution doesnt work this top-down jewish way.

You must be a GNU/Basementdweller, since you emacs goatfuckers are the only one who refer to people with "her".

But don't worry; you'll never get laid anyway
