I think probably Paul Graham would win in a fight. Gerry doesn't look very strong, and is also a friendly family man, while Paul is more like a wild beast, grawwwr, I'm going to eat you, like.
Sussman wrote a book that was actually useful. He and Abelson literally revolutionized computer science education.
Paul Graham wrote two books, neither of which is very good (ANSI Common Lisp is especially bad, on account of the fact that he calls it ANSI Common Lisp, and then decides to cover the parts of the language he likes, while using a really fucked up, non-standard style). He also created a really pointless dialect of Lisp, which he used to create a website that hosts a community of retarded, vaguely right-wing "startup" assholes (seriously, if I hear about another business being 'bootstrapped', I'm going to kill somebody). So in short, he's polluted the already shitty Lisp literature, further fragmented the Lisp community by an ever-so-tiny margin, and managed to give a voice to a bunch of mouth breathers in the process.
So, Sussman.
Waits patiently on the Hacker News morons to come and defend their beloved 'pg'.
