It would be good to have such book about Haskell.

In fact I think, we need more Haskell publications, that are closer to real world (Haskell books about algorithms, software engineering and more) - people would have friendlier mindset then.

yes, I didn't think of this book, but it's still not enough. There's multiple papers about Haskell, but they are most for experienced programmers, not for newbies.

I also noticed, that it's not easy for people to jump into this train since many of times there they will meet people that always "oh god, oh god, you could use [insert some stuff here] and made this 4 lines 50% shorter".

Another problem is lack of matures libraries (poor documentation of Hackage in contrast to anything from CPAN).
