Are you frustrated, Archfags?

Name: Anonymous 2011-01-14 18:43

Not really. Xmonad works well for me.

Name: Anonymous 2011-01-14 18:45

Not really. Stumpwm works well for me.

Name: Anonymous 2011-01-14 18:47

Not really. DWM works well for me.

Name: Anonymous 2011-01-14 18:51

Not really. A rusty nail and maggot infested piece of goat flesh (twm) works well for me.

Nothing wrong with twm. Remember, they came up with the seemingly weird key usage at a time when there was no standard and the default window decorations and colours were a product of their time as well.

I'm from /g/.

And I know you guys like to think you're better than people that browse the imageboards, but you're really not. It's all the same shit.

Debian is just as easy to use as Ubuntu, only slightly harder to install. So of course it attracts posing jerkoffs trying to act leet

Most of the people who use Debian are people who were using it before Ubuntu came along and thought to themselves "if I wanted that I'd just switch to unstable." I'd consider Ubuntu LTS, except it's somehow not as feature-complete as Debian stable, yet pulls almost entirely from Debian testing and unstable.https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LTS

I really don't see the advantage of Ubuntu in any scenario. If you have a hard time with the install but still want to say you use Linux... well that's a solid hint you're a ``posing jerkoff.'' (A phrase I will not be entering into Google any time soon.) Besides, all the people who make it harder for themselves to sound awesome pick Slackware or Gentoo.

Arch + XMonad = Love

See, I can arrange symbols too! I've loving XMonad even more nowadays since I got a second monitor. Once I added some lines to my config and got used to how XMonad does it, it was simple to use.

Too bad Haskal on X is SLOW AS FUCK

The xmonad process uses only 4 MiB of memory, and I've never seen it above 0%. I mean, all it does is sleep until some key combinations are pressed, and then executes very little code. Pretty lean to me.

It's not actually.  XMonad is one of the fastests WMs ever, even when it's stuffed with 20 extensions.
