How is it that the most popular languages get the most trash talk? You can't talk about any language without someone pointing out "why it's garbage." Why is that? If we already know every language has its flaws, then why not shut up and just use your language of preference?

Because silly hipsters think that any popular language is uncool and therefore insult is as much as possible.
Also, Lispers with little dick syndrome.

The more popular a language is, the more people were exposed to it and its flaws and feel like pointing them out to improve on our current state. It's called progress.

Because there is a flawless language. You all know its name.

Yes I get that, "Let me report my findings to the creator....while I'm at it, let me disown the language completely and trash talk it whenever someone mentions the fact that they use it."

People that like language use it. People that hate language complain about it. Since there is more people being exposed to popular language more people will hate it. It's the same as with other popular things (books, RPGs, movies)
