So how many of you are atheistic? And how many of you have been diagnosed with atheism by a real doctor?

Xarn.

Look, you can't all be athiest. One of you has to be athier than the rest. that's just how superlatives work.

Perhaps there is a maximum level of atheist and maybe everybody can get there at the same time.

Most people here (except me, cuz I'm nonconformist) taught mathematics at school and university. And, as we all know, math is a religion, worshipping Set Theory and Infinity. So, I'm a faggot and you all -- religious fanatics.

So you can't understand simple statements like "If A then B". Math never says that it has to represent our physical universe. If it would, it would be severly limited.

define "understand"

>Math never says that it has to represent our physical universe. If it would, it would be severly limited.
That is why math a religion.

religion - a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny; "he lost his faith but not his morality"
an institution to express belief in a divine power; "he was raised in the Baptist religion"; "a member of his own faith contradicted him"
Math just concerns itself with analyzing abstract systems, if you equate abstract systems with "gods", it would be the "study" of "gods", not the worship of "gods".

I'm not going to bother discussing this further, I've already seen your other threads.

Nice. Dont argue with me, poor nyasha, because I'm right as always. Run in fear!

>religion - a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny
And mathematicians use these "infinitesimals" in calculations.

>Math just concerns itself with analyzing abstract systems
define "abstract system"
