Remote Synchronization

Name: Anonymous 2010-12-03 22:02

Hello /prog/,

I'm just wondering, how many of you use a remote file synchronization software like SugarSync? I just started using it, and I love it! I have a desktop running in my dorm that I like using while not at classes for my schoolwork, and transferring files with a USB stick was tedious! I'm not going to post you a tinyurl link to trick you into going to my referral, but if you haven't tried something like this, I would highly recommend it. Yes, you can just take my referral ID out, but we each gain an extra 500 mbs of storage per month, so what's it hurt?

rsync(1) anyone?

It uses Windows, which is a terrible thing to do to an otherwise useful piece of equipment. Windows on a computer is like having a 3 legged dog; crippled.
