I could list countless such methods, but I can also list ways to reverse engineer and restore obfuscated code for each of these methods. How about instead of wasting time thinking your code is so important, you either don't give anyone the code if it's not something you want people to see (too terrible, contains "secrets", whatever), or you just give them the code and let them read if if they so desire. Obfuscation is annoying and doesn't help anyone, and to a good reverse engineer, it's nothing more than a temporary annoyance.
