For those of you who HAVE graduated from college....

I'm going into CS, how much am I going to have to deal with in terms of essays?

Are you going to a liberal arts college for a CS degree?

No, I'm going to a public university, which happens to have a really good CS program.

It probably still is a liberal arts style school. If so then yes.

If not, then yes.

Back when i went to school for CS it was all about learning, coming up with new algorithms and research research research.

Fuck.... I hate writing papers, specifically long papers (my mind tries to keep things as simple and small as possible, which contradicts my need to fulfil a page quota).

Which is why you interpret each page as a module in a large program.

Graduating next year from UWMad in CS and I haven't written an essay since my first year's communication requirement.  I've written pages and goddamn pages of proofs, but never anything that didn't specifically reward brevity.
