How do i put bones and skin on an atom so that i can export the animation into xna 3.1.
The problem being everyone uses skinning sample but that's for bipeds and skin and bones fuck up my atom animation.
Are bones and skin the only way to go for exporting my animation?

you dont need bones to simply animate movement of objects, bones are only needed when you need to deform a mesh. just parent the atom to an object in the center of the atom then animate the rotation
